We are so excited to announce that our Community Dig Day event will be held on Saturday, May 28th 9am-12pm at the BiLo parking lot in Black Mountain. It will be a fun-filled, family friendly event featuring free plant starts, containers with soil, cooking demos, children’s activities, and gardening workshops. We hope you can join us for this fun community event. Let’s get planting! Also, we’re seeking lots of helping hands throughout the process including setup/breakdown, traffic flow support, greeters, plant potters and sharers, and more in order to distribute THOUSANDS of veggie, herb, and flower starts. We’re seeking various sized pots up to 5 gallons to send folks home with at our Soil Station the day of the event for those who will be container gardening–please leave pots on the front porch of the Bounty & Soul office.
