⅓cuphemp seeds or substitute sunflowerchia, or flax seeds
¼package broccoli sprouts or small crowns chopped similarly
Dressing Ingredients:
½cupolive oil or substitute other oil base
Slightly less than ½ cup apple cider vinegar
½cupTamari
Optional: ½ cup tahini or nut butter of choice
½tbsp.garlicminced
¼tsp.oreganodry
¼tsp.basildry
Instructions
Place kale, beets, carrots, onions, hemp seed, peppers and sprouts in a mixing container. You can also add fresh squash to this mixture.
Prepare dressing. In a blender (or with a whisk) place olive oil, vinegar, shoyu, tahini, garlic, oregano and basil and blend until smooth. Pour and toss until kale is well coated. Enjoy!
Notes
Kale is high in the nutrient Vitamin K which is good for blood health. Kale is also extremely high in Vitamin A which is beneficial for immune system support.
