1large bunch green leaf and/or red leaf lettucetorn (about 12 cups)
1large head of romaine lettucechopped
Chopped veggies of your choice: carrotscelery, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes
green or red onionssliced
1 ½cupbeans or green peas for protein
DRESSING:
1/2cupcider or red wine vinegar
1/2cupolive oil
1/4cupwater
1tablespoonhoney
2teaspoonslemon juice
1teaspoonDijon mustard
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
3/4teaspoongarlic salt or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
In a large salad bowl, toss lettuce, assorted veggies of choice, onions and bean/peas if desired.
In a small saucepan, combine the dressing ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through. Just before serving, drizzle warm dressing over the salad; toss to coat.
