Healthy Kid-Friendly Treats: Day 2 (July 15th)

July 15 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Healthy Kid-Friendly Treats: A 2-Day Workshop

Do you want to make sweet treats with your kids that are actually good for them? This hands-on, 2-day cooking workshop is designed for caregivers and children ages 6–12 to explore wholesome, plant-based ingredients together — no experience required.

Guided by our Dietetic Interns, each session will walk you through practical cooking techniques, nutrition education, and a new recipe you can recreate at home. You’ll leave every class with a dish you made together, new kitchen skills, and a take-home activity to keep the fun going.

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on cooking with fresh, whole, plant-based ingredients
  • Nutrition education on the health benefits of what you’re making
  • Day 1: No-bake apple pie bars
  • Day 2: Healthy chocolate pudding
  • A supportive, relaxed environment where you and your child can learn and cook at your own pace
