Farmers Alliance™

There are a number of ways to “dig in” with local garden and farm partners!

Sharing the Harvest

Bounty & Soul partners with so many local community gardens, farms, home growers, and tailgate markets to bring local produce to the people. You can join in our Harvest Days, where we head to local farms to gather foods directly from their fields. Harvest Days are a great way to see new places and get acquainted with our beautiful region!

Gardening

If you’re looking to get your hands dirty and help plant, maintain and harvest fresh produce with one of our community garden partners, we’re happy to sync you up directly with a coordinator. We also have opportunities to lend a hand with local garden partners who grow fresh produce for distribution at our no-cost Produce to the People markets. Click here to learn more!

Plant a Row

Do you have a home garden? Consider planting a row for Bounty & Soul and donating your bounty to support weekly markets! Every amount makes a difference.

Love Notes3 rs

Offsite/Remote Projects

Safe ways to give your time and talents in a remote capacity.

Spread the Love

As market attendance continues to soar our need for handwritten Love Notes is growing! We're seeking a handful of volunteers to spend some dedicated time crafting messages of encouragement for us to slip into our weekly food bags.

Box Pickup

Each week we send out over 600 healthy food boxes to our community. We are seeking folks to pick up square dairy boxes at local Ingles locations that can be dropped off at our Box Prep site at your convenience.

Benevolent Box Delivery

Bounty & Soul’s participants are like family. When someone experiences hardship we try hard to do everything within our means to help. We’re looking to put together a Benevolent Committee to write cards, take meals, assist with transportation to markets and do general outreach for families and individuals when they’re in need.

Community Outreach

Leverage community support from your personal and professional networks.

Fundraising

Bounty & Soul loves teaming up with local businesses and organizations for service days, in-store & online philanthropy efforts and nationwide fundraising and awareness campaigns like National Nutrition Month and Hunger Action Month.  Currently, we are looking to form an experienced volunteer team in event planning/marketing/communications to help plan and execute a summer/fall event.

Crowdfunding

As a small but mighty nonprofit we’re always seeking financial support from our community. Consider starting a Facebook fundraiser or encouraging friends and family to DONATE here!

Host a Healthy Food & Fund Drive

Help us stock our shelves with healthy shelf-stable items like brown rice, quinoa, beans and oats and consider adding a fundraising component for an additional boost! Click here for Healthy Food List.

Love notes mean so much to our community as a new participant recently expressed,

"Oh my goodness I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am for these beautiful messages that sneak their way into our boxes. The one I received yesterday was particularly special and was exactly what I needed to hear! I literally cried tears of joy when I read it. Thank you for all of your time dedicated to this beautiful volunteer project and thank you to all the people that send these notes, they really do make a difference!"
