The Farmers Alliance™ program is committed to developing a supportive and reciprocal relationship between Bounty & Soul and local farmers and growers while connecting the community to local produce and gardening education. We partner with over 72 local farms, community gardens, and home gardens in Buncombe and surrounding counties to provide local foods at our Produce to the People™ markets.
Partner Farm and Garden Volunteer Opportunities:
Eliada Campus Farm Program
Eliada has deep agricultural roots, having once been a working farm in the early and mid-1900’s. Today, Eliada’s Campus Farm program provides food and educational opportunities for their 400 students and residents 365 days of the year. The farm currently consists of three growing facilities; a geodesic Grow Dome, a hoophouse, and a market garden. Between the three facilities, the farm program is equipped to grow year-round. Produce from the farm goes directly to Eliada’s kitchen where it is used to create nutritional, fresh meals for the students served on campus. A portion of the Market Garden is also dedicated to a therapeutic tea garden where they grow herbs youths help bag and drink as a self-soothing ritual. Bounty & Soul began partnering with Eliada in 2023 to purchase their excess produce for our Produce to the People community markets and provide production support.

Yesod Farm+Kitchen
Yesod Farm+Kitchen seeks collective liberation with the land through Jewish agriculture, mutual aid, and growing relationships across differences. They steward 16 acres of Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee) and Catawba homelands, 25 minutes from Asheville, NC. They embody Jewish ancestral wisdom by offering this land as a resource for collective nourishment and safety for those most impacted by systems of harm, namely BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ folks, and justice seekers. Yesod offers free and sliding scale retreat space, experiential education at the intersections of Judaism and agriculture, and free produce to people experiencing food insecurity, in partnership with Root Cause Farm and Bounty & Soul.
