Bob has been an amazing volunteer since the day he set foot at Bounty & Soul. First lending a hand at the Volunteer Hub, he’s most recently found his niche at the Latino community market. He is a very hardworking individual, enjoys helping to set up and stage produce alongside participants at this farmers market-style distribution, and has a friendly, welcoming demeanor that is well-received by the community. He takes ownership of his respective tasks and our staff can rely on him to help orient new volunteers by showing them around, and how to carry out the work that we do. “It feels good to be appreciated for the hours of hard work,” Bob reflects, “In Houston during the pandemic, I drove my car around and delivered boxes of food to those who could not go out. Each time I join there is a sense of a small community being helped.” Thank you, Bob for your many contributions, this market wouldn’t be the same without you!
