If you’ve attended a Local Food sorting shift, driven through the local foods pop up table during a Tuesday or Friday market, attended a harvest, or spent some time at our Bounty & SOIL garden this summer, you’ve most likely interacted with Danny. Danny has served as the Local Foods Intern since June, and he has been a solid pillar for the Local Foods team and Bounty & Soul as a whole. His warm demeanor, diligent attention to detail, and amazing wealth of plant and soil knowledge are just a few of the characteristics that make him exceptional and a joy to be around. Be sure to give Danny a fond farewell this week, and wish him well on his start back to school as he continues his educational journey studying Ecology and Environmental Biology at UNCA this fall.
