In a few months, Bounty & Soul will welcome the Farmers Market Truck, a mobile market truck carrying fresh produce to partner communities across the local region. With our partners, we’ll create place-based markets and community education at sites where people already live, learn, work and play. These will be smaller, community-centric markets that support the human connectivity that is the foundation of Bounty & Soul. We’re calling that project REACH – Redefining Equitable Access to Community Health.
On the way to that expansion will come a change to our large community markets in Black Mountain. Starting in May 16th, and continuing thereafter, the Tuesday and Friday markets will transition to one community market each week, on Thursdays at the current location, 205 NC Hwy 9 in Black Mountain. You can always check the current market schedule here.
