We are honored and grateful to announce that The Cliffs and the Walnut Grove Members Association have generously awarded Bounty & Soul with a community grant award of $25,000. This impactful contribution supports local farm partners and strengthens the local food system by funding volunteer-service learning on small farms across Western North Carolina, purchasing food from local farms, and receiving produce donations through the Farmers Alliance ™ program. That locally-sourced food is then distributed to over 1,100 households and families in the community at Bounty & Soul’s Produce to the People ™ markets a week.
“This funding supports Bounty & Soul in so many ways,” says Ali Casparian, ED and Founder of the nonprofit, “and we are so thankful to have the support of the entire community at The Cliffs. Together, we are building a meaningful and resilient community where everyone has access to nutritious food and locally-grown produce.”
