Featured on Fox Carolina News for Hurricane Helene Relief

Bounty & Soul was recently featured on Fox Carolina News following the generous presentation of a $25,000 check from Rotary District 7680. This donation will support the organization’s ongoing efforts to aid communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.

The news segment highlighted the significant increase in demand for Bounty & Soul’s services, which saw its weekly food budget rise from $8,000 to $18,000. With many local crops damaged by flooding, the funding will help ensure Bounty & Soul can continue providing fresh, nutritious food to families in need.

Rotarian Cindy Fink also coordinated a volunteer effort where Rotarians from Salisbury, NC, packaged produce boxes for residents in Black Mountain and Swannanoa, complete with recipe cards and samples to help families make the most of the food provided.

Rotary District Governor Kevin Kendrick shared, “Western North Carolina needs our help now and next year and the next,” reinforcing the long-term support Rotary is committed to providing.

Thanks to this generous contribution and the continued support of our community, Bounty & Soul can keep making a difference. To learn more about how to get involved or make a donation, visit the website. Together, Together we can nourish and strengthen our community.
