Banana Chips
Homemade Banana Chips
Ingredients
- Ripe but firm bananas sliced into “moon” shapes
- 1 lemon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. Cover baking sheet with foil or a lightly greased pan (we love using coconut oil). Prepare moon shaped bananas on a baking tray, in a single layer. Sprinkle lemon juice (option to also add on spices, if desired, such as cinnamon). Bake for 1 hour. Flip occasionally, especially if top starts to brown or darken (if they are difficult to flip, allow them to keep cooking for another 20-30 minutes).
Notes
Cut all banana slices evenly. Remove banana slices if they are done. If you remove them too soon from the oven, they will not start to crisp. You can return them back to the oven for an additional 15 minutes. ENJOY!
