We are so incredibly grateful to @weavervilleprimaryschool for hosting a food drive to support Bounty & Soul’s homebound services! We weighed the donation, and it totaled an amazing 189 pounds of healthy dry goods — woo hoo! 🎉 This is what community looks like. Neighbors showing up for neighbors. Thank you for helping us nourish lives and strengthen our community!
Today we say farewell to our teammate, Anthony, as he sets out on a new adventure of hiking the entire Appalachian Trail! Anthony has meant so much to our team and community. So many of our volunteers looked up to him and proudly called him a friend. Whether he was driving Big Peppa, steering the forklift, or working behind the scenes to ensure produce pickups went smoothly, Anthony brought dedication, heart, and reliability to everything he did. A true lover of live music (especially Billy Strings!), Anthony filled our days with positivity, laughter, and steady leadership. He has poured so much love into our organization and into Western North Carolina, and he will be deeply missed by all of us. Thank you, Anthony, for everything you’ve given to this community. We’re going to miss you, bud. Wishing you nothing but clear skies, strong legs, and an incredible journey ahead. Good luck on the trail! 🥾🌲
