Burdock Root Tea
Ingredients
- 1 large fresh burdock root
- 4 Cups water
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash burdock root.
- Peel the entire root with a potato peeler or knife into thin strips (keep the skin!)
- Put strips in a pot and add water. Bring to a boil, heat uncovered 10 minutes.
- Cover with lid and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and allow to steep for another 20 minutes.
- Strain and serve warm.
