Homemade Pickling Recipe-

Use with: yellow squash, cucumber, asparagus, mushrooms, green beans, cabbage, carrots, bell peppers & more!
Ingredients
- Brine:
- –1 ½ cup water
- –1 ½ cup white vinegar
- –2 Tablespoons pickling or kosher salt
- –1 Tablespoons honey or sugar
- –Optional spices dill seed, garlic clove, mustard seed, etc
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients besides optional spices until simmering. Pack veggies and optional spices into a large mason jar. Pour heated liquid over fresh veggies.. Brine should fill about 3 pints of pickles. Keep in fridge for 2 weeks until ready to be eaten. Can stay preserved for about up to 6 months!
