Ingredients

  • Water
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mugwort for 1 cup tea
  • Honey or sweetener of choice to taste
  • Optional: Add in a handful of mint, lemon balm, or other herb of choice! You can also turn this into a mugwort latte by steaming some plant milk on the stove top.

Instructions

  • Heat one cup of water in a teapot or in a small saucepan, bringing it to a boil
  • In a mug or pot, pour water over the chopped mugwort. Let the mugwort infuse for 10-15 minutes
  • Strain out the mugwort with a strainer, catching the remaining tea in a mug or pot
  • Sweeten with sweetener of choice and enjoy

Notes

Mugwort is called the “dream plant” and can be beneficial for dreams and sleep! It can be used as a liver tonic, as a sedative, and as a plant medicine to promote circulation. It is a supportive herb for menstruation, digestion and bloating. Mugwort tea is wonderful for people experiencing insomnia, stress, digestive issues, weak immunity, or cramping, but it should be avoided by people who are in early stages of pregnancy.
