Roasted Burdock Root
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped burdock root
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of Sea salt
Optional:
- 1 tsp tamari
- ½ tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Thoroughly wash burdock roots, leaving skin on.
- Chop roots into moons.
- Toss in a bowl with olive oil and sea salt. Add optional ingredients if using.
- Spread burdock in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until tender when pierced with a fork.
