Sautéed Kale

Sautéed Kale

Total Time: 10min   Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 bunches of kale
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Optional: Lemon wedges or parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash and dry the kale leaves, then destem and roughly chop the kale
  2. Thinly slice the garlic cloves.
  3. Add the olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Add the sliced garlic, red pepper flakes, and kale and cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently until wilted and bright green.
  4. Remove from the heat and add the salt. If desired, add lemon juice or freshly grated parmesan. Enjoy!
