Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Pie
Ingredients
- 1 Pre-made pie crust
- 12.3 oz silken or firm tofu*
- 1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp non-dairy milk of choice (light or full fat coconut milk works great!)
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 8 to 10 oz dark chocolate chips or dairy free chocolate chips (about 1 1/2 cups or more)
- 2-3 tbsp sweetener of choice (omit if you are used to less-sweet desserts)
Optional add-ins:
- extracts or liqueur
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter for a chocolate peanut butter pie
- any kind of berries for chocolate berry pie
Instructions
- Carefully melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler or on low temperature on the stove.
- Throw everything into a food processor and blend until super-smooth.
- Pour blended ingredients in a pie crust if desired or pie pan.
- Fridge until chilled. The longer the pie sits in the refrigerator, the firmer it will become.
Notes
*Firm tofu will create a thicker pie consistency while silken tofu will form a mousse-like consistency.
