Crispy Apple Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 firm medium apples
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
  • Slice apples into very thin rings. (I leave the core in because I think it makes a prettier apple chip, but you can remove it.)
  • Place apple rings on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
  • In a small bowl, mix together sugar and spices. Sprinkle over apple rings.
  • Place baking sheet in the oven. Baking time depends on the thickness and water content of your apple slices. Remove when crisp. Approximately 1 1/2-2 hours.
