Crispy Apple Chips
Ingredients
- 2 firm medium apples
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
- Slice apples into very thin rings. (I leave the core in because I think it makes a prettier apple chip, but you can remove it.)
- Place apple rings on a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
- In a small bowl, mix together sugar and spices. Sprinkle over apple rings.
- Place baking sheet in the oven. Baking time depends on the thickness and water content of your apple slices. Remove when crisp. Approximately 1 1/2-2 hours.
