Immune Boosting Hot Cocoa

A delicious spicy and sweet drink. Perfect for a cold winter's day!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon plant milk coconut, soy, cashew, oat, etc.
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 Tbsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup sweetener honey, mayple syrup, coconut sugar, agave, etc.

Optional

  • cardamom, nutmeg, clove

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan
  • Whisk frequently as your bring the pot to medium heat (should be warm but not boil)
  • Remove from heat, taste, adjust for flavor
  • Serve fresh and warm!

Notes

Can be stored, covered, in the fridge for 3-5 days and reheated on the stove or microwave
