Pinto Bean Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups or one 15 oz. can of pinto beans drained and rinsed (reserve liquid in separate container if omitting oil)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons tap water or veggie broth
  • 1 small garlic clove or about ½ teaspoon minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Serve with pita chips or raw vegetables.
